Bonnie Brinkley Slocumb

Bonnie Mae Brinkley Slocumb, 76, of Hartsfield, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2021, at Pruitt Health Magnolia Manor of Moultrie.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Hartsfield Cemetery with Rev. Julian Griner officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Born June 3, 1945, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George E. Brinkley, Jr. and Johnnie Mae Coffee Brinkley.  She was a member of Hartsfield Baptist Church.  Mrs. Slocumb’s family remembers her as a loving homemaker who adored her children, grandchildren, friends, yard sales, vegetable canning season, and trips to Goodwill.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Slocumb was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Raymond A. “Gus” Slocumb and her twin brother, Donnie Brinkley.

Survivors include her children, Donna Topper and husband John of Hiawassee, GA and Eddie Slocumb and wife Tonya of Pelham; grandchildren, Tiffany Brimlow, Justin Slocumb, Austin Slocumb, and Brian Parker.
