MOULTRIE, GA- Bonnie L. Griner, 44, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, December 27, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Matt Peek officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Casey Mize, Corey Novotny, Trek Smith, Wes Robison, Clayton Brooks, Paul Herndon, and Ryan French.
Honorary casketbearers will be Rusty Griner, Dale Yarbrough, Harrell Rackley, Jake Rackley and Kenny Douglas.
Born May 1, 1979, in Albany, Georgia, she was the daughter of Sheila Rackley Griner of Moultrie and the late James Lewis Griner. Bonnie was a very strong lady who will always be remembered as a courageous fighter. She loved her family above all else and was especially close to her brother Chad. Bonnie had a smile and personality that would light up the room wherever she was. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Chadwick “Chad” Griner.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Nick Chastain; her fur babies, Sir Duke Lorenzo Griner Chastain and Kate Chastain; mother and father-in-law, Louie & Cathy Chastain; sister-in-law, Kristin Taylor Griner; brother-in-law, Chris Chastain and wife Staci; nieces and nephews, Morgan Caroline Griner, Caitlin Olivia Griner, James Watson Griner, Reagan Chastain, Westin Chastain, Lauren Chastain; along with numerous dear friends.
