Betty Rogers Taylor

Hartsfield, Georgia – Betty Rogers Taylor, 92, of Hartsfield, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at her residence surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 25, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel, with private interment at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 until 10:45 AM, Monday, August 25, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born January 28, 1933, in Montgomery County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Mason Arthur Rogers and the late Annie Ruth Thompson Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Elton Taylor; siblings, Hoyle Shelton Rogers, Louise Marjorie Rogers Strickland, Mary Ethel Rogers Murphy, Dorothy Janette Rogers Winkleman, Emma Ruth Rogers Broom, Vera Nell Rogers Jay, Cloyd Mason Rogers, twin Robert Luther “Bobby” Rogers and Jimmy Rogers.

A woman of strong Christian faith, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, being outdoors; but most importantly, she loved being with family.

Survivors include her children, Clay Taylor and wife, Ann, Pam Taylor Phillips and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Kristin Griner, Zeb Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Abigail Phillips, Blake Phillips; great-grandchildren, Morgan Griner, Caitlin Griner, James Griner, Camden Taylor, Rebekah Taylor; siblings, Peggy Rogers Price, Tommy Rogers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Moultrie and Colquitt County.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
