Betty Joyce Goff, 90, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Pruitt-Health Magnolia Manor.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Charlie Tucker officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.
Family request that social distancing guidelines be followed, and masks are recommended.
Born June 2, 1931, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Wilkes Goff and George Goff. Ms. Goff was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. The job that she loved the most when she was younger, was the soda fountain girl at Dr. Blasingame/Register Drugstore and Watson Drugstore. Ms. Goff was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Colquitt County Historical Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Bobby Ambrose; sister Lillis Ambrose
Survivors include her niece, Janice Turner and husband Howard of Headland, AL; great-niece, Stephanie Holmes and husband Josh; great-nephews, Jason Turner and wife Rebecca, Keith Ambrose and wife Gail.
The family would like to thank all the staff members at The Golden Apple, Pruitt Hospice and Magnolia Manor for time and dedication invested in Ms. Betty's care.
