Bernice "Needam" Carver

Bernice “Needam” Carver, 79, of Moultrie, GA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021.

A private graveside service will be held at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. 

Born June 10, 1942, in Broxton, GA, he was the son of the late Bernice Carver and Juanita Robinson Futch.  Mr. Carver was a self-employed carpenter who worked in the mobile home industry.  He loved and faithfully served his family.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting.  He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army.  In addition, he was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge. 

Survivors include his wife Linda Carver; son, Jack Carver and wife Teresa of Americus;  daughter, Ramona Thomas and husband Buddy of Moultrie; grandchildren, Amanda Garnto, Michael Tyson and wife Nicole, Ashley Smith, Matthew Thomas, and Katie Carver; great-grandchildren, Abigail Garnto, Wesley Smith, Brooklyn Smith, and Ariel Tyson; sisters, Lavon Montgomery of Meigs, Martha and Mickey Cloud of Boston,  Margaret and Tommy Sellers of Cairo; sisters-in-law, Marsha Parks of Fitzgerald and Willie Ve Williamson of Cordele.
