Barbara Bradley Rayburn

Barbara Bradley Rayburn, 70, of Hartsfield, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

          Graveside rites will be held 2:00PM Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randall Kennedy officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended. 

          Casketbearers will be Ryan Glover, Jonathan Exum, Stephen Douglas, Tyson Lamb, Preston Lamb and Jaime Rayson.

          Born October 22, 1949 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Homer Lewis Bradley and Lucy Grace Newton Bradley.  Mrs. Rayburn retired from Delta Life Insurance Company as an insurance salesperson and was a member of Christian Crusade Church.   She enjoyed shopping, gardening and had a great sense of humor.  Mrs. Rayburn was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was an outstanding and strong-willed lady.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmie Bradley; sister, Faye Bradley.

          Survivors include her husband, Elmer Julius Rayburn of Hartsfield; children, Wayne Bivins of Moultrie, Leanne Ricks and husband Stevie of Hartsfield, LaDonna Douglas and husband Stephen of Jackson, Tn, Denise Hood and James Hill of Moultrie; grandchildren, Shane Exum, Jonathan Exum, Ryan Glover, Jaime Rayson, Montana Rayson, Preston Lamb Tyson Lamb, Layne Lamb and Rylee Bryant; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Bradley and wife Karen of Jacksonville, FL.
