MOULTRIE, GA- Barbara Alice McLendon, 79, of Moultrie, died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at her home.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Funston Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Shiver officiating.
Born August 21, 1940 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Warner McLendon and Gladys Duffell McLendon. Mrs. McLendon retired from C&S Bank as a teller and was a member of Funston United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann McLendon.
Survivors include her sister, Carol King and husband Tommy of LaGrange, GA; nephews, Jason Armstrong and wife Karen, Chris Armstrong all of Pine Mountain, GA; great-nieces, Claire Armstrong, Ava Armstrong; great-nephew, Silas Armstrong; step-nephew, David Lazenby and wife Elisha of Jasper, AL; several cousins and other family members.
