MOULTRIE, GA - Amia Kaye Smith, 41, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, May 04, 2023.
The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the New Covenant Church with the Reverend Mark Hancock officiating.
Born December 12, 1981, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Willie Boyd Smith and Sarah Joyce Clayton Smith. Amia was the shift manager of McDonald’s and was a member of the New Covenant Church. She was a compassionate, kindhearted lady who loved her family, especially her nephews. Amia enjoyed watching wrestling, movies, and playing games on her phone. She will be remembered by many as a gracious lady who would always be there to help when needed.
Survivors include her brother, Timothy Smith and wife Michelle; nephews, Avery Smith, Landry Smith and Matt Yates; special friends and bonus family member, David Berry Jones; stepmother, Connie Knowles Smith; stepbrothers, Scotty Yates and wife Lynn, Cleveland Yates, Marcus Yates; extended McDonald’s family along with a numerous of extended family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Autism Awareness.
