Allen Dale Massey

Moultrie, Georgia – Allen Dale Massey, 51, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 8 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, while surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend John Hancock officiating.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Harley Hall, David Cash, Tom Bass, Patrick Bertram, Demetria Williams and Eddie Gay.

Honorary casketbeaerers are Mackinzie Blanchet, Lance Blanchet, Shawn Bass, Bobby Thompson, Shannon Dickerson and Josh Jarvis.

Born November 2, 1973, in Sylvester, Georgia, he was a son of the late Ralph Nolan Massey and the late Ruby Nell Kimbrell Massey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Massey and Craig Massey; sisters, Joyce Massey and Alice Massey.

Known as Mr. Fix It to everybody that knew him, he was a plumber and owned Allen Massey Maintenance. He enjoyed fishing and being in his shop; but his true passion was spending time with his kids and grandkids. He never knew a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help somebody in need.

Survivors include his children, Brandon Massey and girlfriend, Bri Tillman, Brice Massey and girlfriend, Skylar Riley, Dalen Barnes and Harley Hall; grandchildren, McKenna Rae Massey, Madelyn Grace Massey, Nicolas Keith Hall, Skyler Edwards Connor and Sawyer Alan Hall; brothers, Chester Massey, Nevan Massey and William Massey; former wife, Kristina Massey; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
