MOULTRIE, GA. Albert Isaac Richardson, 84, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at New Bethel Cemetery with Mr. John Paulk and Mr. France Allegood officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born November 8, 1938, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Redden Richardson and Mary Autrey Richardson. Mr. Albert was a gentle giant of a man who loved his family and farming with all his heart. He began farming as soon as he graduated school and continued to farm for as long as he was able. Mr. Albert never met a stranger and could talk to anyone he saw. He was very talented at fixing anything that broke and always had some work project going. Mr. Albert was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he served his Lord and Savior to best of his ability. He accomplished many things in life, but his greatest accomplishment will always be the family he loved so much.
His family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Legacy Village at Park Regency for the amazing compassion they displayed while caring for Mr. Albert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Jessie Davis.
Survivors include his beloved wife Faye Allegood Richardson of Hartsfield; children, Julie Paulk and husband John of Sycamore, Tracy Richardson of Tallahassee, and Bert Richardson and wife Paula of Thomasville; grandchildren, Erica Roberts and husband Brad, Aimee Tierney and husband Brian, Janna Shuster and husband Zac, Kelly Cone and husband John, Redden Money, Jewel Money, Ansley Richardson, Angel Richardson, Railey Richardson, Isaac Richardson, Maggie Claire Richardson, Si Richardson and LillieBella Richardson; 10 great-grandchildren; special family friend Carla Meadows; along with a number of extended family members and friends.
